What is Bootcamp?
Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors® Bootcamp prepares novice and experienced federal contractors to find, recognize, and understand information, and take action using tactics, and resources crucial to achieving growth in Federal Contracting.
This two-part program will position you and your company to rise above the norm and realize measurable successes in the marketplace of Federal Contracting.
Our Bootcamp is based on the concept of Military Basic Training, also known as boot camp. Military boot camp prepares recruits for all elements of service: physical, mental and emotional, and provides them the basic tools needed to perform. To say boot camp training is important to our Nation's Military is an understatement, since it also represents the start of the journey for enlisted members who will eventually become part of our military's elite Special Forces.
Part One - Bootcamp 2-Day Immersion
This is a carefully crafted workshop built on facts and boots-on-the-ground experience. It is two consecutive days of in-person lecture, hands-on training, and interactive discussions. It's called Immersion because you, and up to fourteen others, will be swimming in an ocean of information, knowledge and resources, with Bootcamp Instructors as your lifeguards. The information is presented in-context, so you will clearly understand how and why all of the dots connect. There is so much useful information that you won't remember all of it, or even most of it. That's the plan. We'll guide you to takeaway two, three, or however many nuggets are immediately relevant to you achieving results. What about the rest of the information, you ask? That's where your participation in the Bootcamp Alumni Group fits in.
Part Two - Bootcamp Alumni Group
While the Bootcamp 2-Day Immersion is intense and knowledge-rich, it's actually just the beginning of your Bootcamp Journey. Following Bootcamp, there is one-year in the larger Bootcamp Alumni Group, where regular group coaching, discussion forums and continued learning await you. As you progress in your development, you have your instructors and fellow alumni to lean on.
The result of participating in Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors® Bootcamp is executives and professionals who are better equipped to take action using proven tactics, terminology and tools largely unknown to many of their colleagues and competition.
Attending Bootcamp is a great idea for upskilling anyone responsible for federal sector growth activities, and a great way to increase your organization's ability to:
- Find and win contracts and subcontracts;
- Identify buyers, customers, competitors, and partners;
- Clearly understand how agencies buy what you sell;
- Learn about opportunities earlier than RFIs and Sources Sought Notices;
- Gain timely insights about agency goals, objectives, and priorities;
- And more!

Is this an on-location or virtual program?
The entire Bootcamp experience consists of two parts. The first is the 2-Day Immersion hosted in-person in Hanover, MD. The second part is the Bootcamp Alumni Group that is hosted online in our member community.
Who should attend Bootcamp?
Everyone who has responsibility for contributing to your company's growth. The obvious functions include:
- Strategy
- Marketing
- Business Development
- Capture Management
- Market Research
Additionally, more than one-third of participants have roles and responsibilities focused on:
- Service Delivery
- Portfolio Lead
- Client Engagement
- Program/Project Management
One more thing. Most of our attendees have more than five years of experience doing business with the federal government. On more than one occasion, we've heard "I've been doing this for more than (fill in the blank with your number) years, and a lot of this sounds new!"
That never gets old.
What happens during the 2-Day Immersion?
The 2-Day Immersion is the heart and the start of Bootcamp, and we chose the descriptor "immersion" for a reason. We're going to present a lot of information to you over the two days. All of it is relevant, but only some of it will be useful to you, today. We'll help you find the nuggets you need most, so you can put them into action. All of this occurs during lecture, discussions, and hands-on training segments where you will use your company's information to complete exercises. It's during these segments where our attendees discover information they assumed was not possible to get quite this easily. The goal of the 2-Day Immersion is building context, familiarity and awareness of tactics, terminology, tools and resources that will support effective and efficient information discovery and decision-making.
Did we mention the quizzes?
What is the Bootcamp Alumni Program?
This is the accompaniment and follow-on to the 2-Day Immersion and it begins the week following Immersion. It begins with three weekly group coaching calls, one each week, for three weeks. These sessions are exclusively for the group that just attended Immersion together. Once those are completed, the entire cohort is then on the same schedule with other Bootcamp Alumni, participating in monthly group coaching calls, online discussion forums and continued learning via on-demand videos, podcasts and more. Participation in the Bootcamp Alumni Group is for twelve (12) months following Immersion.
What is the start and end time for the 2-Day Immersion?
Every Bootcamp is scheduled begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM ET.
How many participants can attend a Bootcamp?
The maximum number has been and will stay at fifteen (15). It's the right size for collaboration, and small enough for our instruction team to provide a good amount of individualized attention to during the hands-on segments.
Can we purchase a Bootcamp Complete for our company?
Yes! A private Bootcamp is the facilitation of our current program and content, for your group. We don't accept special requests for changes to the content.
There are two ways to make a private Bootcamp happen.
- You can "buy out" a scheduled Bootcamp on our calendar as long as no other registrations have been received. A buy out requires a minimum purchase of ten (10) seats at the applicable (early-bird or standard) registration rate.
- You can request a date not currently on our calendar. This version of a private Bootcamp requires a minimum purchase of fifteen (15) seats at the standard General Registration rate, and a minimum of forty-five (45) days advance notice.
